Hotel Amira

Our stay at this beautiful hotel was simply perfect! The rooms are nice, clean, cozy, and well-appointed, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The view of the swimming pool is beautiful, and the peacefulness of the place made for a truly relaxing experience. A special thanks to the very kind staff, who were always helpful and made us feel at home. The typical breakfast was delicious, featuring local products that added a special touch to our mornings. The nearby beach was really beautiful, with warm sea water and many palm trees providing shade, making it the perfect place to relax in the sun. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort, excellent service, and an authentic, unforgettable experience.

Great room, very big and comfortable. Really nice pool with beautiful views. Delicious breakfast. Hotel it’s close to the beach, restaurants and stores, but it’s also a little secluded so it’s really calm and peaceful.

Clean and big room size.

No hot water even though we told them twice to fix it. Many tiles missing in the pool. Staff spoke very little English - I know that English isn’t first language but all other hotels and restaurants in CR had staff that could communicate. Street traffic extremely noisy. Location is not really walkable to the beach - long and hilly dirt road that would probably take 30 minutes each way.

We only stayed 1 night and enjoyed the experience. Room was bigger than any other we stayed in, in CR. Breakfast was good and staff were too.

The greatest hotel I have been recently. Perfect for kids, a pool in the shadow until midday, good food, calm, perfectly clean

Clean, spacious modern style Hotel in a small village near one of the loveliest beaches in Costa Rica. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Air conditioning and a mini fridge and coffee maker were welcome additions. It was great to have a sizeable pool. It was clean and there was ample shaded seating. It was well enjoyed by families. The hotel is an easy 15 minute walk to the stunning Playa Carrillo. We saw beautiful birds and monkeys from the hotel property including parrots and scarlet macaws .There are a few restaurants in the area and a well stocked mini super. It is best to have a car. We did not but the hotel staff helped us arrange taxis as needed. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Minor details...the coffee pot cord was too short to plug in so we set it on the floor, not a big deal. The bathroom door hits the toilet but there is hot water and the bathroom is clean. The tiles in the pool are falling off....but it was clean and a real bonus in the hot weather. The breakfast provided at the hotel for extra money was okay but there are better options in the village. The hotel is close to the main road and so the traffic can be a little noisy at certain times but not enough to stop you from sleeping.

Good food, wish we could "self serve" coffee.

You need to have beach chairs, umbrellas and towels that guests can use. We came for the beach. Need batteries for the safe and clock. It would have been nice to have had some hanging space.
