Hotel Esperanza

The owner and his wife are hands down the best hosts I have ever had. He creates a great atmosphere at the hotel and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Breakfast made each morning was spectacular Room had great AC and wonderfully warm shower There is parking onsite It is so close to Carillo beach which is so much more tranquil than Sámara Beach. But within a short driving distance of Sámara if you want to go be part of the things going on over there!

The owners were exceptional and did everything to make our stay pleasant. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.

Breakfast was great everyday. Dennis and Kari made whatever we wanted to eat. It's always warm enough to eat outside in the shade. The location was very good. There are 3 restaurants within a block and it was only a 4.5 minute walk to a long, wide and very quiet beach.

We can just say thank you to Dennis and Karina for their hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Very good breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice, small pool. Owners did assist with every question or need you have. Perfect for us as a family. We, as a family also enjoyed to be in Carrillio and not in Samara. The beach in Carrillio around 3 km long but very few people. Perfect to relax under the long strip with Palm trees.

We loved the place and would definitely recommend it. The owner, an American who had great local information, and his wife made us feel at home and were very attentive to our needs and interests. Great breakfast and close to beach. Road noise was there, yet you get used to it. Kudos!

Very friendly couple welcomes you the minute you walk in the door. Relaxed setting and delicious breakfasts. They are happy to accommodate vegans! Close to beach (5 minute walk down a hill), restaurants next door, very convenient location.

Exceptional customer service and walking distance to a perfect beach. There is a small grocery right next door for snacks. Several good restaurants within a 2 to 4 minute walk. They make you feel like part of the family.
