Doxford Hall Hotel And Spa

Lovely staff very helpful and chatty. Breakfast was nice and staff very accomodating. Room was tidey and clean, bathroom was a good size. We travelled down for a wedding and the staff onsite help us get a taxi sorted in the local area which was a life saver as we were struggling to get one sorted just ask reception. Beautiful area to stay in.

Would have been nice to have the jets in the bathroom working however not the end of the world other than that nothing to add.

Bar area ! Furniture in the bar , bit of a mis match , not in keeping with the rest of the hotel , needs upgrading , better quality , music in the bar area , country and western on repeat , slightly depressing , but on the whole , brilliant hotel 👍

The location and surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much.

It’s a beautiful property in a stunning location. The food was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Some of the furniture seemed like lovely period pieces but the curtains were ripped, the windows had heavy condensation and the bed wasn’t too comfortable. I also thought the tv in the room wasn’t situated very well. Certain bits around the property looked aged and slightly tatty. However, to keep the aesthetic, you can’t have modern fixtures and fittings
