The Ship Hotel

The second time staying at the Ship Hotel, ideally situated to where I attend an AGM. Always clean & comfortable

We didn't arrive until fairly late in the day and the pub was getting a bit busy but still, the young lady behind the bar saw to our check in relatively quickly and showed us up to our room. The room was fairly big and the shower room was clean and well equipped.

No breakfast facilities and there was a bit of a kitchen smell in the hallways up to the accommodation rooms. The bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world but it was adequate for the night.

It was clean and tidy

Not so much didn’t like but it is a bit tired looking, towels not as good as I expected in the rooms, everything was there that was needed

Well-priced 2* accommodation, comfortable room in old pub. All facilities were clean and nicely presented. Freshly-cooked breakfast, roomy bathroom and comfortable bed.

Reasonable price and what we expected for a room in a pub in a Devon village , good tea and coffees selection and real milk in room , large room main bed comfortable, single bed not so good. Bit rough around the edges but good for the money and good for a quick stop.over. it's all as it says on the tin !! Room we stayed in was the galleon on the top floor, very quiet considering a busy night in the bar. Felt safe which is more important

The room was absolutely freezing and the duvet was wafer thin on the single bed.
