ひがし茶屋街らしく金沢 Hotel Rashiku kanazawa

Absolutely beautiful hotel, right in the Higashi Chaya District. The room was generously spacious and just as beautiful as the entranceway. The staff were very helpful. We had had our bags shipped from Tokyo to Kanazawa and they were in our room when we arrived.

Would have loved a breakfast option.

Beautiful room located a traditional Japenese area. The hotel decor reflects the Japanese culture with modern rooms. Hotel staff were friendly but not intrusive. Would highly recommend.

Great location in the old town so perfect for early morning walks and ducking back during the day. A western-style hotel in a building that looks traditionally Japanese from the outside, with some nice decorative touches. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower/bath area. The staff were helpful in checking us in early and ordering us a taxi to get back to the train station.

We didn’t opt for the included breakfast bentos as the reviews weren’t great - but there weren’t that many other options around locally, especially for someone gluten-free. The best local place was Cafe Tamon - or go to the fish market/get onigiri. Make sure you also book restaurants for dinner.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the historic neighbourhood of Kanazawa, which is very picturesque and quiet at night. Staff is very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice tatami and a view. You can easily walk to the main attractions and the surroundings are lovely, with a river passing by closely. Breakfast was included, but you had to walk a little while to get it, since they don't serve it at the hotel, unless you ask for it. We took once the breakfast at the food market, which was amazingly delicious, even if we had to walk 20 minutes to get there.

We took once the breakfast at the room, and it was the standard Japanese bento stuff which you can't compare with the breakfast at the market. Besides that, the hotel is worth the stay.
