ひがし茶屋街らしく金沢 Hotel Rashiku kanazawa

Was here for a weekend in Kanazawa after taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo. The Rashiku Kanazawa is a charming boutique hotel located in a quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to - almost inside of - the Higashi Chaya historic district. The rooms were comfortable and well finished, and the service was exceptionally helpful and polite, even by Japan standards.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. If you’re looking to be as close as possible to the tourist attractions you can stay in the city center on the other side of the Asano River, but we loved the Rashiku’s quiet location. The restaurant was closed for the week s we were there, so a hot Japanese breakfast was served to us in our rooms instead.

Location was excellent, it was quiet and the soundproofing was good. Comfortable beds, the wagashi provided daily was a nice touch.

Very well designed and extremely beautiful hotel with a touch of Ryokan architecture. Location in the middle of the Geisha district was just perfect

Great location! The staff was very kind and attentive. We found the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The breakfast was health conscious and tasty. The beautiful Wagashi served in the room was the cherry on the top.

There were no chest of drawers or even a shelf in the closet, so nowhere to keep your clothes other than the 4 hangers. Also, a box of kleenex in the bathroom is a necessity to many.

Very quiet and good location for travellers/tourists. Locally made sweets left in the fridge daily to try and bottled water, a lovely extra touch.
