Food & staff were great

No hot water in shower was reported on 1st day but no improvement & appeared to be an issue for other guests, staff seemed aware but nothing was done.

We all loved our stay, room was perfect for our family. We had evening meal which was lovely and breakfasts on a morning were perfect, even converted my husband to eating haggis!

Breakfast and evening meals were very good. Rooms were clean.

Shower had barely sufficient pressure to function as a shower.

The location, food, pub atmosphere and especially the friendliness and customer service of the staff were all excellent.

One issue only which was no hot water.

Our room had a double bed and a single bed squeezed into it, so cramped. The bed was very comfortable and the single bed useful as a surface to store our clothes and bags. This was helpful at is location blocked any access to the cupboard/ wardrobe. It was also jammed up against the electric radiator so it was a good thing we were visiting in the summer and had no need to use the radiator. Staff were great, breakfast excellent, bar reasonably priced and dinner restaurant menu pretty good. Fantastic views across the estuary and really conveniently placed for walks. Wifi good. Decent kettle and teabags, instant coffee.

As above re cramped room and extra bed. Shower absolutely hopeless... lukewarm dribble. No access to storage TV could have been a big more modern, and wall mounted rather than in top corner. After all it had to be watched from the bed . Towels were changed but bed not made up
