The place was very nice and cozy - loved the grounded yet tasteful decor. I love all the greenery at the entrance and all around the place. Hospitality was top notch - staff were friendly, helpful, polite, and attentive. The breakfast food was pretty good too, both the maldivian and western options - every meal came with eggs, toast, juice, tea and coffee, which i felt was quite generous. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable (there was an additional sofa bed too that was equally as comfortable) and the bathroom was clean. Everything functioned well. The place is also on the quieter wide of Maafushi so it doesnt feel too crowded. There were also some adorable resident cats.

There were 2 roaches in the room. Quickly dealt with personally but a little disconcerting despite how clean the space was (no rubbish, no smell, no stagnant waters). Usual caveats of a tropical place I guess. The fake grass carpeting was a little strange. Moonlight restaurant next door tends to play music with quite some bass and beats at their bar, so it can get a little noisy when you're trying to nap during the day or rest early, and especially if you are a light sleeper. But it wasnt an issue for us. The location is a bit far from the main beaches and majority of the restaurants/shops (about 10min walk). It's fine at night but can be quite a pain during the day due to the heat. But Dusk restaurant next door and Chic Cafe by Maldives Fellas are pretty good eating/chilling places so you can go there if you dont want to walk too far.

Some large marine fish in the hotel ponds No need for that. Set them free. Guests feel sorry for the large fishes

Friendly staff with large, well equipped rooms. 1 large double bed, with a single bed. Tea, coffee facilities and a small fridge. Great value for money!

It's a bit far from where things are happening on the rest of the island. The kids got tired of walking in the sun. There are golf buggies/taxis if you have cash with you.
