Silver Cloud Hotel - Portland

Everything about the hotel is perfect.

Hard to find anything not to like.

The lobby, restaurant, elevator, free parking, and felt safe. The bed and bedding was comfortable, decor and lighting is on point. Employees were all very nice and professional.

Get rid of the old carpet and change to LVT,. Pillows were worn out, I'd rather have 2 fresh newer pillows than four floppy, but bedding was nice and room felt clean. Parking spaces were too crammed and hard to open car doors wider than a foot. Sacrificing one space in a couple rows would be a big difference for suvs and trucks. I know space is at a premium but can't get my luggage out the side doors and vehicles next to me were line to line. Thank goodness I'm thin because anyone large, forget exiting the vehicle. I stayed for 3 days and it was annoying listening to housekeeping tapping on every door all morning saying housekeeping. If people checked out already, you should have an app and handheld that says to clean those rooms. If they stayed past checkout, then by all means tap your little heart out and move them along.

I loved the staff on how friendly they were both day and night. It was perfectly quiet and cozy. I’m for sure booking more at this location whenever I get the chance to travel back to Oregon.

Restaurant needs more on menu.

We loved the location! So many great coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. And the free parking was clutch. The staff were also super kind.

Very comfy bed, awesome location, easy parking.
