Auld Cross Keys Inn

I have stayed on a few occasions and the staff are lovely.

The room this time was really poor, dated, the bathroom and bath in the bedroom were just bizarre. Normally the food is good but this time I had an adequate evening meal, burger and chips but the chips were burnt and the burger bun disintegrated and the breakfast was poor, badly cooked and not up to previous standards which have been quite good,

Everything was wonderful, accommodation, food, service and setting. They are doing a wonderful job! Would definitely recommend.

A really good place to stay in a quiet attractive village - evening meal excellent as was breakfast.

Evening meal and breakfast was good, our room was comfortable but was close to the stairs that creaked and also the floor above was very noisy and when rooms above turned on the tap/shower it sounded like it was in our room- staff were very friendly and it was also dog friendly-perhaps we were just unlucky where our room was situated.

There was nothing not to like. Staff were friendly and welcoming and most attentive. Lovely hotel in a picturesque village.
