La guest house se modernise actuellement, sur un rue un peu reculée et dans un jardin c'est super calme. Super budget pour cette localisation. Accès au restaurant de la famille, adapté aux touristes niveau épices.

Séjour très agréable dans cette guesthouse. Il faut passer par un petit jardin pour atteindre les chambres, c'est très joli et calme. Super emplacement, proche du lion rocks et du lac autour duquel on peut aller se balader et voir pas mal d'oiseaux. Logement spacieux, confortable et très propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Il y a un restaurant en bas de l'hôtel avec de la nourriture excellente! Le personnel est disponible et donne plein de conseil pour visiter les alentours. Possibilité d'organiser un safari sur place.

Ein Ort voller Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft. Nach vier Nächten kann ich diesen wunderbaren Rückzugsort nur empfehlen – perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die beeindruckende Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Familie kümmert sich mit viel Liebe und Hingabe um alles und sorgt dafür, dass der Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich ist. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und sogar die Bilder an den Wänden sind handgemachte Kunstwerke. Das Sigiri Liya wächst stetig mit kreativen Ideen – ein weiterer Grund, diesen besonderen Ort zu unterstützen oder einfach eine wundervolle Zeit dort zu genießen.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer und Bad, Klimaanlage und Ventilator vorhanden. Chatu war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend, hat mir ein Willkommengetränk angeboten und meine Anfragen beantwortet. Besonders dankbar war ich für die Terrasse, auf der ich während des Regens Arbeiten konnte. Grosse Empfehlung!

Great place. Comfortable and quiet and yet very close to restaurants, shops and looms rock. The manager is super helpful with everything (even transport and scooter rentals) and speaks really good English.

The room downstairs is a bit basic- try to get one upstairs- really beautiful .

Estás en medio de la selva, únicamente se escuchan los pájaros, pero muy bien ubicado. Cama muy cómoda con balcón bonito. Habitación muy amplia con agua caliente. Tuve un pequeño problema con el aire acondicionado pero me lo solucionaron. Zona muy tranquila. Restaurante bien también. Toda la familia muy amable, y el dueño, un joven atento, muy dispuesto a ayudar en cualquier cosa.

We stayed at Sigiri Liya Rest for three nights, and it was one of the best accommodations we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and offered a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is great, with easy access to Sigiriya Rock and other nearby attractions. A real highlight was the food—it was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! Every meal was freshly prepared with so much care, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed every dish. What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality of the family running the guesthouse. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness made us feel right at home. We can highly recommend Sigiri Liya Rest to anyone visiting the area. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we would love to come back!
