"this was my first visit to this part of the borders, very nice area , very nice wee town,"

breakfast was very good and up to expectations, room was very nice, clean and tidy, nice bathroom , comfortable bed, facilities overall were very good, didn`t use restaurant for dinner as I was meeting up with friends in Melrose

"Central but pricey"

Breakfast was nice and pleasantly served. Staff friendly.

Whole place rather shabby. Hotel/ public bar closed early. Overpriced. Needed to use emergency contact number after hours and found it unmanned.
