We chose this accommodation based on its location and price. We had a fairly good idea of the quality of the establishment. In reality, the rooms had water, a toilet, air conditioning, a refrigerator, closets, and a television—although without a remote control. For one or two nights, everything necessary was there, so there was nothing to complain about in that regard. Despite being located right in the city center and next to a busy road, traffic noise was not audible in the room. For those needing quick and simple accommodation in central Mombasa this place fits the bill. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise—it was served slowly, but it was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. A large portion, too.

However, there is room for improvement in cleanliness. The trash bins contained some items from previous guests, and the bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned in what seemed like a month.

Islam praying related loud noises in the middle of the night made it impossible to sleep.

It’s in downtown and okay for just a day. I repeat, don’t book for more than a day. The breakfast was okay. But Nothing special. The young man who checked us in was nice

They gave us complimentary drinking water in glass bottles which break very easily. Two of them broke while we were trying to open them. Boom, they charged us 150 tzsh for each broken bottle. Remember these water bottles were complimentary in the first place😅😅 Don’t let these photos on the internet mislead you😂 the rooms look so ghetto in reality. The bedsheets were torn like they were eaten by rats, everything in there was rusty. We could feel the timber through the mattress while sleeping😂 Not that this review will affect the hotel in anyway, but I promise you, you’re going to get disappointed. Book at your own risk. The staff serving breakfast will side eye you like they are giving it for free. The young boy is nice and humble. But the older Mamas have some kind of attitude. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Unless you want to ruin your vacation.
