Great breakfast and large rooms

I’m not sure why anyone actually goes to Mombasa. I stayed 1 night because I had an early flight next morning so the hotel didn’t matter much but it’s not a place to stay more than a night or to spend time in. It’s very simple but clean. There was 2 free water bottles which was good.

Good central location, easy to walk to the market and Old Town You can use the rooftop swimming pool which has amazing views of Mombasa. Both the pool and the views were the highlight of my hotel stay. Wifi usually worked well I felt safe inside the hotel. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the Burhani tower. There's a security guy at the main gate to the tower and also cameras around the hotel floor. Most hotel staff were nice Osborn, the guy working by the swimming pool was very nice, he helped me to take photos there. Window mosquito net, air con Simple room but enough for a short stay in Mombasa I got a free room update from single to double room because all single rooms were taken during my stay.

It was very loud inside the room because I could hear the mosque prayers more times per day and they also woke me up at 4am. The hotel is right next to a mosque and I'm afraid it can be heard in all rooms and I even got a "quiet room" (after my request) but it was still too loud for me. I could also hear other guests when they were passing along the hallway and from their rooms, too. It was very disturbing for me but not everyone is that sensitive to noise as I am. I got what I asked for breakfast but I just wish the portion was a bit bigger. Rooms/walls could use some reconstruction and electricity plugs should be rechecked/renewed.
