acora City Apart Living the City - Digital Access

Wir hatten ein Appartment mit einer Gruppe und waren positiv von der Größe überrascht. Das Appartment geht über zwei Etagen und bietet viel Platz mit zwei großen Badezimmern und einer schönen Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist. Die Betten sind bequem und es war alles sauber. Der Preis ist günstig für Hamburg Verhältnisse. Der Check-in wird in einem Hotel in der Nähe abgewickelt, dort wurden wir freundlich empfangen.

Auch wenn es nicht direkt mit dem Appartment was zu tun, erwähne ich die Umgebung. Die Lage ist in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, dort sind Drogensüchtige und Obdachlose unterwegs, die sich auch vor dem Haus aufhalten. Wirklich unsicher haben wir uns nicht gefühlt, aber es kann für Unbehaglichkeit sorgen.

The property itself was nice. Inside the apartment was clean, beds were comfortable, towels/shampoo/shower gel/cutlery etc were provided. The geographical location was perfect. Close to the city centre in walking distance, close to the central station, shops near by. Luggage storage at the main check in hotel was handy. Entrance to the main building and apartment were safe and secure.

The area of the property wasn’t great, especially on Friday/Saturday nights. Although I was never bothered directly, there were lots of homelessness in the area; one homeless man asleep on the stairs to the main apartment building, often had rubbish or clothes left on the stairs. Lots of intoxicated people around the area (alcohol/drugs), very noisy with protestors and often being woken by sirens during the night, witnessed police search multiple people in the streets. Just an overall run down area but always had police around.

Da wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten, weil wir am nächsten Tag früh den Busshuttle zur AIDA erreichen mussten war das ok für uns. Das Zimmer und das Bad ,war sauber, wir hatten sogar eine Kaffeemaschine, sodass wir uns noch einen Kaffee machen konnten. Es war für eine Nacht ok.

Wir mussten ein paar Häuser weiter im Hotel Graf Moltke einchecken und das war ein einziges Chaos, wir standen sehr lange an, erst nur um unsere Koffer abzugeben, dann um unsere Karte zu holen und um zu zahlen, Rechnung bekamen wir erst am nächsten Morgen, weil der Drucker nicht funktionierte. Der Aufzug war defekt und wir mussten unsere Koffer in den 2. Stock schleppen.

The beds were super comfy and heaps of room for everyone. One of the check in staff was amazing, the other was very bad.

The area! Homeless people in the door way, crack dealers on the corners, had to get on of the check in staff had to take us next door as a body guard to protect us while we were buying a bottle of wine. I would definitely recommend being inside with the door locked before dark.
