Dephani Beach Hotel

This is a wonderful place to stay. The people are so friendly and helpful. The location is superb. It has everything you need. Try the srilankan breakfast it's superb!

the mouse poop behind the bed, the hot water was never hot and the response to the cockroaches and poop was a mockery.

Lovely hotel right on a clean sandy beach, easy to get to the airport (4000 rupee taxi). The room was clean and comfy bed with balcony overlooking beach. The AC worked well and I had fridge in the room. Shower was good. breakfast was good, standard eggs toast and butter and jam, and decent coffee. Milan the owner was helpful in arranging taxis etc and all the staff were friendly. I stayed 2 nights and then started my month tour around Sri Lanka and then 1 night at the end before flying home.

I would have liked tea/coffee and kettle in the room as I like an early morning coffee on the balcony

It was very calm and peaceful place, and near by the airport, since it was our last stop before leaving the country.

The location is superb. There is nothing these people won't do for you. Very friendly staff. Hot water, comfy beds and the best location in Negombo. Paul Olive
