Hotel Bougainvillea

The hotel is in a good location and the behaviours of the staff are excellent. The toilet is not good. Overall the atmosphere is very good.

The hotel was very close to the lake. The staffs were very helpful and friendly, They suggested the interesting places to visit in Pokhra. They even packed our breakfast when we had to check out early. Had a great stay in this hotel.

Supportive front office staff .It's a nice place to rest and don't expect anything fancy but a good place for a short stay .

Location is great, stuff is super cute and friendly.

I almost never write bad reviews but here I would like to leave a notice for future travelers deciding to stay at this property. The hotel has a generator mounted right on the ground floor without any amortizing gear (steel rack stands on a thin concrete pillow which has direct acoustic connection to the whole building backbone. In case if Pokhara has any electricity issues, they will turn on this generator which produces massive vibrations over the whole building. In some parts it so strong that you may hear glass buzzing in window frames. That may cause you fully sleepless night in case if you’re sensitive to that kind of torture. I want to notice that both stuff and owner fully understand the problem and that is not their fault. This is construction mistake which can not be easily fixed by perfect service they are trying to provide. But in case if you’re going to hike Annapurna and proper rest prior to the hiking week is vital for you, pay attention to it.
