Really good location, within walking distance of everything. Lovely room with everything it needed. Breakfast was good, with a good variety. Would happily stay here again.

"The cutest hotel with a stunning lake view room"

The perfect location in the cutest square in Varenna, Lake Como. Accessible with lifts to use for luggage, the place was so comfortable and clean and the breakfast was lovely! We opted for the lake view room with a balcony and it was the best decision, highly recommend if you’re lucky enough to find it available - book it!

"Albergo Del Sole convenient access to the beauty of Lake Como in a quiet village setting."

This hotel is located in a central square. We were able to walk to the Ferry and train station easily. Staff was friendly and attentive when needed. We were able to check in earlier than listed this is a bonus after long hours of travel.

A bit confusing checking in with busy Restaurant activity. Staff was helpful when needed, however, sometimes not readily available at the front desk. Make sure to ask for top floor with lake view or you may be disappointed.

The breakfast was good. The location was good. Unfortunately we were hoping for more assistance on travel arrangements or advice on things to do, but there isn’t anyone to assist.

It would have been nice if there was someone that could assist with things to do and help to arrange for transit to and from train station.
