The Location by the river is lovely . Rooms big and spotlessly clean . Staff friendly and customer focused.

Would have liked a small fridge in the room to place the fresh milk in . However having fresh milk is a nice touch .

Felt it was over priced. The room was a little dated but the bathroom was lovely.

Beautiful historic property on the river.

Despite the sound of the water and shelter of the trees, the A6 is busy, can be heard (though not seen) and lorry traffic runs all night. But, small annoyance for a beautiful setting.

Was mostly fine. Nice place, great location etc.

Was the noisiest room we've ever stayed in. The boiler/plant kicked in around 6am and clicked and hummed all morning. Plus we were directly above reception and the walls were paper thin. Could hear everyone as though in the same room. Not restful.

A traditional, unspoiled building with its outdoor seating and its location in a very attractive village.

A very minor observation, there were cobwebs over the wardrobe in the Kingfisher room and a small part of the skirting board beneath the wardrobe is in need of repair. These are not complaints, merely observations.
