Rafters at Riverside House Hotel

Lovely peaceful location next to the River Wye. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant served fabulous meals with a great choice of menu.

All was good a really pleasant two day visit.

Very friendly staff, location was excellent with 2 local pubs and shop within walking distance.

Lovely bedroom & bathroom with comfy bed, nice toiletries, fluffy towels, tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk - view of the river and garden. Breakfast was exceptional and dinner delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive.

To get wifi I had to stand/sit at the door; bedroom stool very wobbly; had to push toilet flush bracket up after using, or toilet would not flush: all mentioned to reception on first day and not remedied. Very poor bedroom ;lighting made it difficult to read after dark.

Our room didn't have a shower just a bath with a hand held spray would have preferred a shower

Beautiful hotel, stunning location however did not realise it was very close to a main A road so the road noise was loud and constant even into the night, it was a shame that we couldn’t have the windows open.

Road noise, and for the money we spent on the rooms they were tired and mould in mastic of the bath, could do with a makeover
