Beautiful building in a beautiful location. We had a garden room which had a lovely view, unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we weren’t able to sit out on the patio to enjoy it. Very Comfortable bed & pillows. Good value for money. Lovely polite staff & owner. The food in the restaurant was excellent couldn’t fault anything.

Nothing. Only small issue the tv kept buffering so we couldn’t watch it properly. Would have liked usb beside the bed for chargers. Also could hear the room above using their toilet and flushing it & using their shower.

The property is absolutely stunning. Traditional and homely feeling. The restaurant is superb too. All the staff were really lovely and helpful. They left us some complimentary Choux buns in our room which were absolutely divine

Beautiful property everything about the hotel was perfect it was immaculate throughout. Our room which overlooked the garden and river was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We had cocktails in the bar and a fabulous meal on the evening as it was Sunday we had the 3 course Sunday lunch and honestly it was one of the best I have eaten. The breakfast which was included with the room was delicious and the staff were all so attentive and polite. The little choux buns in the rooms were an extra treat. I honestly cannot praise the hotel or staff enough. It was excellent value. The village location was beautiful we had a lovely walk through the village we had visited Chatsworth before our arrival and the location was perfect only a 10 minute drive away. We shall definitely be returning.

Nothing at all I cannot find a single fault with the hotel or the staff they were all extremely polite and friendly.

The bed was a little soft, but for an overnighter I could overlook it. For a linger stay my back would have complained about it.

Very nice Hotel and a chilled environment. Room was really clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spot on. Location excellent.
