My stay was disappointing. The hotel didn’t match the photos online, and the cleanliness was lacking. On top of that, they insisted on cash payment and refused to accept dollars. When we couldn’t provide the required currency, they kept our dollars for a night we couldn’t stay. Overall, a frustrating experience.

Everything, worst experience

I have warned them in advance that my flight was scheduled to get in to Chennai at 11.35 pm so I hoped to be there some time between 12.30 and 1 am. When I got there there were two men sleeping on the floor by the front door, who refused to get up and speak to us, just saying go away, there are no rooms available. Eventually, my taxi driver told them I had a booking. They just told me they have no room available and to get out (in the sense rudely told me to go away). So I had to spend more than twice the amount on the taxi fare for the driver to find me another hotel.

Their totally rude attitude and them turning me away unceremoniously when I had a booking and had told them I would be arriving late.
