Castle House Hotel

Lovely spacious room, enjoyed the breakfast - probably one of the best sausages I have enjoyed for a while. Also a thanks to your young staff who were very helpful.

Not a lot to complain about but the furniture in the main lounge of the hotel where the wake was being held is starting to look a bit shabby.

Breakfast was excellent, made from scratch and I was gluten free and they had a wide variety

Great location the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious.

We were in the lift on our second day and it seemed to drop suddenly and stopped. We were shocked and called the alarm several times expecting someone to speak to us. No one answered the alarm and after a short while it started and the door opened. Needless to say we didn’t use the lift again

No dinner available in the hotel restaurant, sadly.

Castle House is in a fine location, of course, which I much appreciated. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and businesslike. Breakfast was very good.

I would have liked more pillows and a more substantial eiderdown. One tiny point: one plug didn't work.

We stay here every year and are never disappointed. The location is just right for our needs and has a car park. The breakfast is cooked to order and first class
