The hotel and staff were very welcoming and helpful. All staff in various areas of the hotel were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and service given with great dedication. Also very child friendly and attentive

The pool, garden and beach access were great.

Facilities at the hotel were disappointing and doesnt deserve to be 5 stars. You cannot control the room temperature and stays at 25c, which was too hot. and bed doesnt come with a duvet; and no tissue papers and bottled water, and water has to be taken from a water filter kept in the passage. And buffet spread was short, and was bad on one day and was okay the other. I wont recommend this place, if you are someone who look for comfort and details.

Amazing staff who went above and beyond for our children with serious gluten allergy to ensure they could eat safely. Excellent break up point when travelling further South after a long flight. Beach too rough to swim but kids loved watching the waves and the fresh coconuts for sale. Rooms nice and clean

We booked this hotel for the look of the rooms, bathroom and veranda, we were not disappointed. Everything worked. The veranda was particularly spacious with a lounge bed/sofa and outdoor cushions. The pool was a decent size but we preferred to sunbathe in the grassed area by the palm trees which gave some shade. We booked breakfast and buffet dinner which we found to be extremely good, a good variety and everything was cooked well and tasty, the buffet staff were very friendly and efficient. I found this hotel to be more of a package type where most gusts would select all inclusive. Therefore attracting package type guests. I would advise anyone on half board basis to be careful re ordering drinks and snacks, expect everything to have an extra 20% added to the bill.

The check in was all smiles to start with, a group of hard faced women around the desk. Followed by an abrupt demand for our passports and cash payment in full. However, there was a dispute over the exchange rate which was of course in their favour which did not match the amount we would get from the bank. The tall thin woman in charge would argue to the end like a cat with claws out! Our first evening in the entertainment area was spoiled by a very large group of maybe 25 French guests who insisted upon sitting together in a big circle and demanding that we should move! We left preferring to stay in our room. The night’s entertainment was a bit loud going on until 11pm. I’m afraid ‘ Benidorm’ did cross my mind. We were only there for 3 nights so 2 days were spoiled by the French guests, thankfully most of them left on our last day. The hotel could promote the fitness classes better, my daughter only found out about yoga on the last day. Also the prices for a massage are a staggering $54 so we didn’t have one preferring to go to a beach house for $10

The property was simple, nicely laid out, everything within walkable distance and I felt totally safe.

Everything .. after checkin in the room with 2 small kids - sink not working , flush not working , water jet spray damaged . Found 3 or 4 dies flies on the bed , lots of mosquitoes.. they just made us checkin to the room which s not ready . Portico light not working Sink they repaired it twice but no use . They almost took around 2hrs for all this to b fixed and our evening gone … Worst experience n stay in our overall trip to srilanka .. they say 4 star property and cost us so much (but not at all worth ) for all this nonsense and this made our last day in lanka an horrible experience

The hotel is extremely clean, the room was huge with views to the sea and the sunset (unreal) and with a bathtub by the window to relax and look at palm trees and the stars. There was also a small balcony with a chair and a comfortable outside couch just perfect to relax if it's raining or too hot. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the food was decent, with the menu changing a little every day. The location is prime, very close to kalutara and located just on the beach, 10 meters from the sea. Sports centre was big with option to do lot of different activities.

There was a cockroach in the room one of the days. Understandable in a tropical climate.
