The owner and the employees take care of every single detail to ensure you get a pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good and the room was nice.

This bungalow is amazing!! One of the best accommodations I stayed at. It's like paradise. The surroundings are amazing. Very quiet, relaxed and green. Next to the beach. The bungalow has everything and more. Relaxing terrace with a hammock, huge bed and a lot of space around. The staff is also very nice and helpful. They prepared breakfast to go for me because I had to leave at 6am. I really can recommend staying there. With the motorbike you come easily to the other side, Pingwe, if you want to snorkel or the famous restaurant The Rock. From the main street you can take the bus to Stone Town (thru Paje).

Having been given 15 minutes notice of our arrival, we were warmly welcomed after being let down by our previous booking. The site is quiet and very peaceful with a very relaxed feel. The rooms are all bungalows, and very well appointed with nets, tea and coffee making facilities, large bathroom and plenty of space inside and a comfortable covered seating area outside. The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast in the cafe next door is very tasty and lots of it. There is a lot of building work going on in the area and will be a very busy resort soon. We don't feel this will affect the tranquility of Karanga but will definitely affect the local area. Get here quick.

The only possible thing to mention is the lack of WiFi but the bar next door has WiFi and the staff there are very happy for you to use it so not really a downside. This is a new place so WiFi is coming soon.

An excellent quiet place close to the beach with a lot of outdoor space to relax and enjoy your stay. The helpful and friendly staff made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. The breakfast in an adjacent restaurant delicious and plentiful, especially the pancakes. I would definitely recommend Karanga Bungalows to anyone who comes to Michamvi Kae and is not looking for a big, busy resort, but for a pleasant, laid-back retreat.

Perhaps the only thing that could have been better was the wifi. But the place is still fairly new and the owner Hamza is still working on some improvements. A fridge or a small kitchen that could be used by guests would definitely be a big plus
