It was all amazing
NZThe pool area was lovely and the restaurant staff were standout, they went to the effort of learning our names and used them later in our stay when they saw us next. Koko was an incredible dining experience and easily the best Pacific cuisine we've eaten anywhere. The breakfast buffet was amazing and catered to all tastes and preferences.
The pillows in the room were terrible, thank goodness there was an option to upgrade them. Our biggest disappointment was having to check out before 10:00am to get an airport transfer for a 2:00pm fligh. When we got to the airport at 10:15am we were advise check-in didn't open until after 11:00am so we could've spent another hour by the pool and checked out at 11:00am as usual! We were also disappointed that we had to purchase bottled water at the restaurants and tap water wasn't provided, especially as the Sofitel promotes sustainability and provides water refill stations throughout the resort. This didn't add up.

My gosh, some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten at this quality of resort. The breakfast buffet was really disappointing, and the food by the pool was truly barely edible. The wifi is outrageously bad. And I had a manicure / pedicure during my stay here at the spa, and it was truly the worst I’ve ever had. Wow. Very bad value for money.

AUwe upgraded to the Waitui Club this visit and were not disappointed! The service was excellent and the staff so so friendly
The Bazaar Kitchen was disappointing this visit ... not nearly as many options as in 2024 and food quality was not up to previous standards
