Sigiri Royal Point Tree House

Honest, genuine hospitality. We felt like we were part of the family. Samantha is an excellent host. He organised us a safari that was incredible, we saw many beautiful elephants.

Samatha’s family are amazing and very kind with me, the dinner and breakfast are really nice cooked by Samantha’s mum. I felt very safety and comfortable with this family. The tree house is in the middel of the nature and everything clean. I recommend you thus place for sure!

If I could give this 100 stars I would!! We had the best time ever staying at Royal Point Tree House- the tree houses are amazing they are really comfortable, peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views. It feels like you are in a jungle and amazing experience. One night we were woken by wild elephants in the field right next to our tree house!!! The bed was very comfy and the shower nice and warm. The location is off a track about a 5/10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Sam the host is the most lovely person very warm and welcoming. Our time in Sigiriya would not have been the same without him… he went above and beyond for us - he took us on a sunrise walk up Pidurangala Rock (he took us short cuts so we got up quicker), he showed us a beautiful lake and gardens to look around which we would never of know was there. On our second day he even took us in his jeep to the elephant wildlife park and we saw sooo many wild elephants we lots count it was our best day ever!!! After the safari Sam took us to his home where we met his lovely family and spent some time there which was very special they are all incredible people! We had breakfast and dinner both days of our stay, the food was super tasty and they always gave us so much we never went hungry! Honestly the best time ever, do not hesitate to book! Nothing- everything was amazing

Fantastic location, we slept in the middle of monkeys. The location is good, 5 min walk to the main road. And the staff was very accommodating and very nice.

- surrounded by nature - we saw peacocks, two different monkeys, lizards and footsteps of elephants - very friendly family - generous and delicious fresh breakfast - sleeping with the sounds of nature - the kind host drove us to Dambula for a good price

- if the rain gets heavy, it gets loud in the room but that’s part of the tree house experience. Everything stayed dry so we were happy 😊

Highly recommended. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Home made tasty foods. nice view. Enjoyed healing in a rural environment.

Loved that it was really set in nature, felt so serene and wild. The host was so nice, she really made us feel taken care of and very welcome. Would 100% stay here again and will definitely recommend to other travellers!
