Was great

Couldn’t access room on arrival key wouldn’t work was given another room but couldn’t be provided with a key

Location was perfect and ample parking. All staff were hard working and pleasant. Ross on the reception and the young girl serving breakfast were so friendly. The bed was incredibly comfy and the breakfast choice was incredible.

There were too many stairs for me but I managed. The lift was a bonus.

Room was lovely and clean. Staff was lovely as had a mix up with the room but it got sorted with no issues Breakfast was brilliant

Chose sea view but there was scaffolding up which hindered the view

Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom was very small with very impractical and lacking in basic facilities from functional perspective.

The room was very tired and needs renovation. When I walked into the ensuite for the first time there was a puddle on the floor. As the shower and toilet were side by side I didn’t know which item the leak was coming from. After complaining twice about the wet floor at reception I went out for the evening. On coming back to my room the en-suite floor was dried and one of the towels that were for me, the guest, was put behind the loo to mop up the water. So not only did I have a leaky en-suite I was down a towel. Totally unacceptable not even an apology or explanation from the same receptionist who was on duty the following morning. The receptionist needs training on how to deal with the public. I was in room 16, the floor boards outside the room need to be screwed down as each time someone walked past the floor made a loud squeaky noise. This was a busy and noisy corridor from 5.30am so no sleep after that time. This room was supposed to be in a “quiet area”. This room should not be rented out until it is renovated and the floor boards outside the room are screwed down. Photos show old wall paper lifting, guest towel being used to mop up water from leaky pipes and room door that is not pleasant to look at.
