Le Manoir de L'Étang

L’ambiance de cet endroit merveilleux est magique. On y est très bien reçu par Camilla et le personnel. On se sent comme chez soi mais dans un cadre idyllique.

The property and surrounds are so beautiful, charming and quiet. The owner and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provide for our every need. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well appointed We had the unfortunate experience of having had our belongings stolen at a train station, and the owner very kindly went with us to the police station to translate on our behalf. She was a tremendous support to us and we are most grateful. It really has a sense of a home away from home.

Le mobilier et manque de rangement

Great all round! Lovely room, great pool, and amazing staff who were there to help and make the stay easier. A highlight was the hotel restaurant, which we went to both nights we stayed at the hotel. I was impressed by the food and the friendly staff

There was no shower curtain in our bathroom, so the bathroom did get wet during showers.

A stunning location with breathtaking views. Lovely breakfast, air conditioned rooms (which is absolutely necessary in August in the South of France). Parking on site. Homey feel. Lovely decoration in the reception and pool areas. It’s secluded but a 5-minute drive away from charming Mougins, which is one of the loveliest and least crowded places in this area. Great if you like peace and quiet. Do you check out Restaurant Boheme in Mougins, absolutely fantastic food.

The pool is fine but smaller than you’d expect. It does have a great view! We were not a great fan of the quite pricy restaurant, it’s a big of a mixed bag: the fish was dry but the meat was great. You might love it.
