The hotels halls look beautiful in the morning, most of the staff I interacted with in day 2 were super nice and even spoke a little bit of English

The room isnt as nice as the photos shows at all, lighting is dim, creaky old floors, the curtains felt cheap, the balcony had the AC unit (loud), when entering the room you have to play the card game with the door like it's among us (you had to scan multiple times) NOTE: The room does not have a bathtub although it is listed (we went in December snow everywhere in uzungol) thankfully, there is the sauna and swimming pool at least in the hotel, but the jacuzzi didn't work apparently (they said maintenance, I still doubt them) This part is a long note about uzungol itself, note that we went really off season in December: Uzungol is smaller than I thought but it is still a beautiful place, when we went, most shops and restaurants were closed and seemed abandoned, snow everywhere, the drive to uzungol is not dangerous thanks to the gov removing ice from the roads, however the drive is still annoying and has many inclines and turns, if you are not used to mountains driving like me, it will be a bit intimidating, however overall it is safe. Now the bad stuff, the place is completely pandering to Arabs and khaleeji nationals specifically, it is a bit jarring, and the prices are inflated to match, the quality is not matching though, ie it is not worth it and therefore I would really not recommend staying in uzungol, and if you don't have kids or can go without visiting a lake, don't go... Now if you go in the season, it is well known to be a place packed with people, if that's your thing above all else go for it. Otherwise, I can't recommend uzungol to anyone, the drive, the vibe, and the price. Not worth it.

My recent stay at Royal Uzungol Hotel & Spa exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome. They were attentive and friendly. The room was beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The bed in particular was perfect for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, from the spa to Turkish Hamam, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of options. The location was ideal, also it was peaceful and quiet. I was truly impressed by the attention to detail and the commitment to ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family and look forward to my next visit!”

The hotel is setup like a ski chalet and has a rustique touch to it. Staff are super friendly and will always get out of their way to assist.
