Hotel Monumento Convento de San Benito

Such a beautiful hotel to stay at. Previously a convent & now converted to a hotel. There’s a small museum inside & lots of spaces to sit & read or just rest. Staff are so friendly & happy to talk about the history of the building.

Alojamento muito confortável e único, a parte do museu é muito especial. Em relação a conforto e limpeza, não podíamos pedir mais.

Location is very centric, close to the center of town and right at the Camino route. Beautiful location in an old convent. The best part was the staff! Accommodating, helpful and just a joy

The hotel is truly exceptional, full of history. At the same time, we could visit the museum that is part of the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was very good. An ideal stopover on the Camino, highly recommended

Beautiful, high end, comfortable, historic, needs anticipated

I was surprised there was not information about the history of the property. Asked for any written information, no plaques, etc seen. There were rooms that were obviously set in period decor but no info to accompany. I asked at front desk, was told there was no information. Just seemed surprising. Seems they would want to capitalize on the the past history of the Convent.

Lovely boutique hotel situated overlooking the harbour. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and generous. A popular stay for retired pilgrims walking the Camino.
