Very clean and comfortable hotel, friendly and attentive staff

We had the continental breakfast. It was good but there wasn’t much choice. Some yoghurt and more fresh fruit would have been nice.

Some of the staff were quite abrupt and we were told on arrival that we couldn’t eat in the restaurant because we hadn’t pre-booked. Apparently, it was mentioned in the confirmation email. After some debate we managed to persuade them to squeeze us in to the restaurant on our second night, only to find it half empty!

We stayed in The Corner House which was lovely and perfect for our needs. It felt luxurious and cosy all at the same time and the balcony in the en-suite was a real sun trap. One of our best memories of the island is of sitting having lunch and listening to live music in the beautiful garden on Saturday with a glass of Rose. Staff were also really helpful and accomodating.

Nothing really to be honest. My only suggestion not a criticism as we loved our stay is that perhaps it would be good to have a shower in the main bathroom. All the family used our shower which was obviously fine but for friends staying it may be slightly more awkward and there is more than enough space but the bathroom is beautifully done.

Lovely room with everything you'd need. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was very tasty and the hot breakfast options (available for extra) were very reasonably priced.

Nice boutique hotel

Tv didn’t work very well . Obvs an aerial issue or internet issue ( not that we were there very long butWimbledon was on) Sent two emails before arrival - neither got a response ! Have left two phone chargers by the bed. Perhaps the hotel would have courtesy to send them back. Or get in touch ???
