Locanda La Pergola

We chose a balcony room. The view over the lake is spectacular. The hotel is just over the hill from the main part of town and in its own little cove of the lake giving us the quietness we prefer. It is hard to believe it is only listed as a two star hotel! There is even a local swan family who glide by at breakfast! Our train up north to Varenna was very late leaving Milan and with the ferry going first to Menagio before Bellagio we were well past the late check in time of 7.30 pm. The Receptionist kept in contact with us and stayed late to help us navigate the situation. The local taxi service is very unreliable and in the end the wonderful restaurant staff collected us instead!

La ubicación, donde se desayuna y se puede cenar frente al lago Lecco donde hay un amarradero de veleros y botes. Se trata de un edificio antiguo (siglo XIX) que tiene su encanto.

El desayuno, con poca variedad. Tampoco el precio y la atención de los recepcionistas ya que debimos subir el equipaje por las escaleras.

Amazing location! The private terrace off the room was stunning.

Le cadre, des chambres et un restaurant dans un ancien monastère. Une vue sur le lac exceptionnel à l écart de l agitation del la ville. La propreté des lieux. La possibilité de prendre un bateau privé juste à coté. Très bonne note pour le restaurant de l hotel, plats raffinés et bon vin. Je recommande vivement.

L accueil n est pas chaleureux, hormis la personne du matin pour le petit déjeuner.

The location was convenient, it was a 10-15 minute walk from Bellagio town center. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good. Everything was wonderful, no complaints!
