Liyya Water Villas

Le lieu est exceptionnel. Un vrai havre de paix ! Les logements sont repartis autour d'un petit lac, et ne sont pas collés, offrant intimité et sérénité. Des animaux se baladent autour du lac et dans le parc environnant (canards, chats, chiens, oiseaux, grenouilles, dindes...) ce qui permet une vraie connexion à la nature. De plus, un air apaisant (petite musique) est diffusé dans le parc, assurant une sérénité sans faille Les équipements communs (piscine notamment) sont agréables et le personnel est arrangeant sur les horaires d'ouverture. Le restaurant (buffet à volonté changeant tous les jours) est très agréable, le cadre est parfait, le personnel est au petit soin et fait tout pour que nous soyons heureux et apaisés. Tous les plats sont délicieux. Il y a un coin spécifique aux plats Sri Lankais. Les logements sont très sympas, assez spacieux et la climatisation ne s'arrête pas avec la carte, ainsi quand on y revient nous sommes au frais! En soi l'hôtel est parfait pour se reposer à l'écart de la ville et reste accessible en tuc tuc par exemple, en revanche ne pensez pas sortir de l'hôtel sans un transporteur, il est très excentré. Le vrai plus de cet hôtel c'est le personnel et la qualité de Service. Nous avons par exemple demandé le matin même à l'hôtel de booker un safari pour nous, ils ont relevé le défi et ce pour un prix tout à fait correct en comparaison des autres propositions de safari sur get your guide par exemple (18 000 roupies). Le seul bémol est sur l'emplacement de l'hôtel, excentré donc, "impossible" d'aller en ville sans transporteur (pick me par exemple), néanmoins c'est un choix à faire.

Views were nice. They give you a tea packet as a gift for your stay at the time of check out.

While the property looks nice in the photos and when you arrive, there are a lot of flaws which come to light later. Room: Our room had 2 single mattresses joined together so if you slept in the centre, the hard the mattress cover pushed through your back. Since it was raining intermittently, it would helped to have a bathmat outside the room too, where you enter the room with dirty feet. The bathroom has a step down, which you need to be careful of. We almost hurt ourselves without realizing it wasn’t flat ground. I’m all for living in harmony with nature, but there are monkeys around the rooms that can be a bit dangerous. The villas are all spaced out around the pond in the centre, so you may get a villa that is quite a walk around the pond. The AC is quite small – SL can get quite hot in the day time and the AC was on when we arrived, but barely cooling the room. Either they need another AC for a room of that size in the day time, or some other solution. The roofing is glass and wood which it easier for heat to penetrate through, and not let the AC do the job. POOL: The pool shuts at 7pm, which is a bummer considering there isn’t much else to do at the property, or nearby. One day, there was a snake apparently spotted near the pool, so we were confined to only one side of it.

Everyone has its own tent with a shower outdoor. Imagine sitting privately (no one can see you!) outdoors, getting sun kissed for a morning pee.

Well, you are close to a river = mosquitos. We got that one tent which had a squirrel in the roof, so we couldn't sleep, but the hotel gave us another one and started immediately on finding the unwanted tenant.

Villa preciosa rodeada de un lago y animales. Personal encantador especialmente en el comedor. Comida muy buena.

Un poco lejos de todo pero te consiguen un tuk tuk sin problema.

Nice setting. If you love nature you will love this hotel. In the middle of jungle.

Dinner a bit limited in choice.

Beautiful gardens and ambience in the midst of the greenery the villas are located in, makes it more alive. Though my booking is last minute deals, they have upgraded my room. Loved their hospitality, I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have leisure, cozy, nature filled stay. At the end of our stay the general manager has gifted us their own grown tea sample. Overall it's a great experience.

Mooie grote kamers, het eten is goed. Veel leuke beestjes op het terrein.
