Such a unique set up with the villas. Beautiful lake and amazing pool. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and lovely, the food was also delicious

Uns hat die Anlage des Hotels sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen von Dambulla, weswegen wir im Hotel gegessen haben. Auch das Essen hat geschmeckt und es waren viele typische Speisen aus Sri Lanka. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Pool-Anlage ist schön gelegen. Das Zimmer und auch Bad waren sehr groß.

Ein Negativpunkt war die Klimaanlage, die bei Ankunft sehr kalt eingestellt war und über Nacht laut klapperte. Wer lieber im Zentrum übernachten möchte, sollte das Hotel nicht wählen.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft! Die Villas sind traumhaft schön, auch wenn wir leider keine mit Seeblick hatten. Frühstück sehr gut, sogar mit Wurst und Käse und Blick über den See! Das Willkommensritual fanden wir auch sehr schön!

Man muss wissen, dass die Villas sehr einsam liegen, etwa 10 km südlich von DAMBULLA. Wir hatten ein Auto mit Fahrer, deshalb war das für uns kein Problem.

From the outside, the place looks like it's luxury but the rooms and staffing would not even be a one star for me. WE were initially given a villa which seemed okay however there was an awful plumbing smell which even the staff noticed so we were moved to a back room which was filthy. It had not been cleaned, the shower full of mould, the bath mat wet and the floor dirty. When we then tried to contact concierge, the phone did not have a wire and therefore thwere was no contact. There was no phone reception and it was pouring with rain so we could not get to the front desk through the muddy path. When we complianed about this in the morning, the general manager accused us of lying and stated this is this is the room we booked when we clearly showed pictures from booking.com of the room booked and the dirt we were given. He was insanely rude and would not given any compensation. The breakfast was also disgusting with a fly found in one of the cake pieces! I would not wish this stay even on my worst enemies. Definitely avoid!

De accomodatie was super mooi en weids opgezet. De chalet was ruim met een super mooie badkamer. Speciale dank aan Anusha en Krishantha, die ons als een vorst(in) hebben behandeld, superrr. De accomodatie ligt afgelegen, maar ze hebben voor onze wensen telkens prima een auto of tuk tuk geregeld.
