Fabulous introduction to my stay in Sri Lanka! I arrived very late due to late arrival of flight and was greeted very warmly. Was even bought a pot of hot tea ( at 2 in the morning). Beautiful spacious room with modern amenities. Large modern bathroom with spacious shower. Great water pressure. Window next to shower looked directly into lush greenery. Stunning views everywhere. Lush green foliage. Palm trees. A eco paradise. My host was friendly and attentive. Felt at home instantly. Beautiful home cooked meals. Beautiful pool , lined with iridescent blue mosaic tiles. Lots of places to 😌. Highly recommend.

Roshara Nella Hotel is perfectly placed just far enough from urban hubbub to feel wonderfully calm but only an hour from Bandaranaike airport, so a great first stop for anyone touring in Sri Lanka. A lovely, helpful host will welcome you to your accommodation (all rooms on two storeys around a well-maintained pool).

Access, unfortunately is difficult in that the hotel is situated a fair distance from the main road down an unsurfaced road. For anybody in their own vehicle that's no problem though signage could be better. Google maps will help you out!
