"Lovely location with delicious food & excellent service."

Loved having our dinner outside in the garden. Halibut was amazing.

Cafetiere in room only big enough for one cup of coffee, would be better if it made enough for two persons. Car alarm kept going off right outside our room for quite a while. Might be an idea to note down guests car reg so guest can be easily contacted in these circumstances.

"An exceptional hotel in the heart of Speyside"

10.0

The location in Aberlour has really stunning views, the gardens are immaculately tended, the hotel has a family owned feel but with the standards one would expect from a 5 star hotel. The decor is smart yet unpretentious, our bedroom was thoughtfully paid out with a lovely ensuite shower. The collection of whiskies in the whisky lounge has been carefully curated but the most important thing of all is that the team are among the most professional and helpful I've ever come across in a family run hotel. A special mention goes out to General Manager Lauren who runs a tight ship (and makes a mean Bramble and Chilli Margarita), Assistant Manager Tim (General Manager in their sister hotel) who looked after our welcome and made sure we had everything we needed, and Scott who took us through the range of whiskies and clearly knows his drams. This is a must visit hotel when touring Speyside and we can't rate it more highly.

There's actually nothing I can think of that could be improved.
