I loved absolutaly everything about this hotel: location, facilities, food and staff! All top level!

I had an amazing stay at Dhow Resort! From the warm welcome to the seamless service, everything was great. The standout was the incredible hospitality from Francis and his team, especially Violet, Jackie, and Farid. They truly made my stay memorable. If you're after a peaceful getaway, this is the perfect spot. While there's not much around, Jambiani Plaza (small supermarket, ATM) and Paje (a livelier town) are just a short taxi ride away. The hotel arranges everything—tuk-tuks, taxis, tours—you name it. The rooms are clean and comfy, WiFi works well (even in the rooms), and the food is decent. The beach is stunning, and the pool is a great place to relax. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a chilled, welcoming escape!

There’s nothing really negative to say. It would be great to have more loungers and sit bags on the beach to attract more visitors and adjustable pool beds for added comfort. The food is decent, but with a little extra effort, it could be even better and elevate the experience even more!

By great chance, I stumbled upon this hotel on Booking and I’m so so happy to have been able to stay for 6 days, 5 nights at Dhow Resort. Jambiani was introduced to me as a quieter and kite surf area. I wasn’t disappointed. By car, 5 to 10 min only, you can get to the center of Jambiani. Paje is super close also, by car or motorbikes. In the hotel, everything looked like the pictures. My room was cleaned daily by the most beautiful and friendly women. To start the day by having your breakfast, feet on the sand, is incredible. The hotel offers a breakfast menu but you can always ask for changes. For lunch also there’s a menu, and an offer at approximately 20$ for a starter, a main course and one soda. It’s always good to check the tide during the day but the pool comes super handy when it gets to hot and the tide is super low. Close by, on the beach, there’s a kite surf school. To relax, the hotel offers massages. And if you want some action, they have a book full of different activités that you can do on and off the water. Finally, I have to give my thanks to the staff, they were the best and to Francis and Christopher who manages the hotel greatly and are always available and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic stay at Dhow resort. The cleaning, massage, service, reception (Farid) and owner (Francis) were extremely hospitable and we felt very welcome, nothing was too much. The place was magical.

The only - point for us are the new Polish tenants who were also present at that time and gave us a nervous and not hospitable feeling, the reason for us not to return, unfortunately.

Small and extremely friendly. Beautiful setting on stunning beach. Great breakfasts cooked to order. Decent WiFi and air conditioning. Thoroughly enjoyed the local environment - no impersonal big resort here! Very sad to leave!

The hotel is cute and quite clean. Location is great with access to beach directly. No safety issue as you may see on google review. Staff are very friendly, and food delicious.

Many facilities in the room broke, we had a curtain fall from toilet, the door doesn't work. The matress has a curve which is not very comfortable to sleep. And too often electricity breakdown.

The location and scenery are very good, and the waiter is very friendly, u can call a taxi and book snorkeling directly from the hotel

The staff were exceptional, very friendly and going out of their way to support us. They were very responsive as well. We forgot a pair of shoes for one of our boys, Ellias immediately reached out and found an option to send the shoes to us

Uuh possibly variety in food options

The staff here were supper friendly and accommodated all our requests. The area is great and safe we were able to take a night walk and engage with locals. Food is great compared to other places in the area.
