The Vintage Srinagar at Dal Lake

Our stay here was amazing. The staff was so wonderful and friendly. The rooftop restaurant was excellent

We had arrived early.The hotel was kind enough to keep our bags while we explored Srinagar. The view from the room is very scenic. The pictures don’t do justice. The room is spectacular and very well maintained. Best part was we got a direct sunset on Dal Lake view from our room! We visited the hyped Chinar restaurant at Lalit Srinagar and but we had a much better experience at the fantastic rooftop restaurant. You get to enjoy the sunrise as you get a panoramic view of the hills and mountains around Dal lake. And you also get to witness the morning scenes at Dal lake - zero tourists and Kashmir at its best natural mode (fishermen, local folks - on their personal Shikaras…. paradise for photographers). Also, this restaurant is the most popular amongst all the hotels in the area. We ourselves struggled with dinner reservations so that keep that in mind. The food quality was also the best that we had in entire Kashmir trip. Their Kashmiri specialty - Ruangan Chaman (paneer on tomato curry) and Kunguch Pulao (pulao rice with exotic mushrooms) is a must try!

We were informed that dinner reservations were needed for the rooftop. But the manager was helpful to arrange one. Just a small feedback to inform and prioritise restaurant reservations for your inhouse guests.

Location and the lake view.

Hospitality has to go a long way. Considering a 6yr as an addition and charging Rs1000/day is absurd. Try to accommodate your guests. You are already charging a good bit of amount for the stay. No ways a 4 star hotel experience.

Location and the friendly staff. The restaurant food was amazing. The decor was tastefully done and impeccable linen and toiletries. Welcome kahwa on arrival was a wonderful gesture.

The bathroom fittings were a bit wobbly, and being on the 3rd floor, the midnight sound of furniture being pulled around on the roof top restaurant was bit of an annoyance. Pretty minor things, though, on an overall very pleasant place. I

Rooms are nice, spacious. Location bang Opposite Dal lake, though this means it's a busy & noisy location. Restaurant is nice.

Hardly any space in hotel compound. Location gets noisy due to tourist activities at Dal lake. Not the best place to relax. Part view from hotel is parking lot.

Clean, comfortable, good views & great location. The restaurant staff on level 4 were exceptionally helpful & friendly. Good food choices
