MİLLS HOTEL

I live in Germany but I was traveling for a family health emergency and found the hotel on the last day as it was near to the hospital. The staff were always helpful and ready to answer questions at the desk. The breakfast buffet was always neatly organized. The staff maintained a good mood, communicated politely, were attentive to guests, and were never pretentious in their approach.

The hotel has one major issue: the smoking-free rooms still smell of smoke. This is unacceptable. There should be no smoking-allowed rooms at all. You cannot separate rooms on the same floor by smoking and non-smoking, as the smell seeps through. I had to change rooms twice due to the pervasive smell that had already been absorbed into the walls. Although the staff tried to help, it was evident that even the non-smoking rooms were not truly clean. Allowing guests to smoke in some rooms means that if their friends visit and then return to their non-smoking rooms, the smell spreads. Even hotels in Greece or Hungary, which have the highest smoker populations in Europe, enforce a strict no-smoking policy in designated rooms. I don't understand how a hotel can allow such a practice, which harms not only the guests but also the property in the long term, necessitating extensive cleaning and repainting. Even for smokers, staying in a fresh room and walking through clean halls is essential. I hope the hotel addresses this issue and changes its policy soon.

Very simple breakfast, no fresh fruits, no juice, just boiled eggs, but 5 types olives:)

It's a great place to stay at. I recommend it.

The breakfast is really poor. There could be more options. There was no hot chocolate in the machine.
