Poor room and washroom condition, smell in washroom, and not properly cleaned. Bathroom fittings were poor

I stayed with family for two days at Sterling Thekkady, Good size rooms, nice restaurant, friendly staff.

The rooms appear to have some sorts liquids poured from top down on the walls. Staff were good. A major issue was that my car was parked at the front parking lot of the hotel, someone reversed into my car and damaged it. The hotel staff informed me that there is no incident noted in the surveillance video footage, but when requested to see it or for a copy of the footage, the hotel denied. It's a clear indication that the hotel in trying to avoid their liability.

Stay was comfortable and exceeded our expectation in terms of quality of stay. Cleanliness, comfort and staff behaviour was excellent. The food variety and quality was to our liking. Room was clean, well maintained and spacious.

From family and vacation point of view, the facilties for entertainment could be better.

Excellent location and good facility. Had a great time in the pool too.

Good was exorbitantly priced but you have great restaurants near by. So that part gets taken care of.
