Cabanas da Viscondessa - AT

Had a wonderful time, highly recommend.

The hostess that greeted us at reception was lovely. The cabanas were very comfortable. The beds made for a good nights sleep! The rocking chairs on the deck were relaxing!

The owners of this property have created a beautiful oasis. This property has been in their family for a long time, and it was lovely to talk with the owner about that. The cabins were new, beautiful and relaxing. We could cook in the kitchen if we wanted to and eat at the restaurant on the property if we didn’t want to cook. The forest of lemon eucalyptus trees smelled heavenly. This was our favorite place to stay during our time on the Azores Islands.

Jorge is a fantastic host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. He helped organise taxis for our hikes and gave us excellent recommendations. The cabanas were probably the best accommodation on the island and we had a very comfortable stay. The outdoor patio was particularly peaceful with sounds of birds chirping and lots of greenery around. We could park our car for free. There was restaurant on site (with great views of Mount Pico) which was open for dinner and that was an additional advantage as we didn’t need to step out in the evening.

We had an amazing few days here. It’s a besutiful place, cosy and comfortable cabins and the mannager and staff were super friendly and helpfull. Can really recommend it if.

We liked the cabanas, very spacious and clean. Nice terrace surrounded by nature. Beautiful view of Pico mountain. Jorge, the owner, was very welcoming. The restaurant was a good PLUS to have. It is very good cuisine.

Lovely and quiet with the most comfortable bed we’ve experienced in our travels around the islands. The owner is an absolute gentleman, went out of his way to make a special birthday even more special! Thank you again Jorge. Very useful to have the on site dining option too, with a charming smiley waitress to brighten your day😍

Not a thing

Ottima struttura. Dal ristorante si può godere di una bellissima vista sul vulcano di Pico. E dalle camere si può osservare la foresta che circonda la struttura. Gli appartamenti sono puliti e muniti del necessario (anche se purtroppo manca il bidet). Jorge, il proprietario, è gentilissimo e disponibile. Vale lo stesso per la proprietaria del ristorante. Purtroppo ho cenato lì solamente una volta, ma il cibo era davvero ottimo e l'atmosfera molto intima e piacevole.
