Cabanas da Viscondessa - AT

Great, climatic place with absolutely great service and staff. For us, it was better than expected. Also good location as a starting point for visiting rest of the island. I'd definitely rent again if/when visiting Sao Jorge again. PS. Someone mentioned it's too dark, but I it has been fixed when we were there with additional little lamps along the way.

Breakfast was really good, but it was the same limited selection and it can get monotonous after more than 2 days.

This accommodation is one of many reasons why I am looking forward to coming back to São Jorge. We could see that it was important to Jorge to present the place in a good light and it was indeed a very pleasant experience to be there. Everything was great and I have no regrets about choosing Cabanas da Viscondessa for our stay.

Everything was amazing

The cabins truly felt like home and backed to the beautiful green Azorean forest right from your private balcony. Loved the complete layout and enjoyed the living room.

Restaurant was on hotel grounds, but was a separate business…service was awkward and inconsistent, but the food was good.

Nice spacious houses, perfect for a small getaway. Has anything you'd need included. Very nice host and a great location on the island. Having an awesome small restaurant, Zefyr Cafe, right on the same plot is a great bonus!

This is a hidden gem, we would definitely recommend it to other travellers who need a break from their fast paced lifestyle.

Breakfast very good for 2-3 days afterwards a bit monotonous. But you can use the Kitchen in the Studios and enjoy the great terrasse. Really nice owner of the Cabins. Best restaurant on the island, (french cook ;) )

well maintained, nice location, relaxed atmosphere

What an amazing place! Everyone we encountered in and around the Cabanas was fantastic! The cabana was beautiful and had everything we needed, including all the right kitchen supplies to cook several meals. It's a beautiful place with interesting history, an incredible view, and a wonderful restaurant on site, and I know they'll continue to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for anyone lucky enough to stay with them. And I just can't say enough about the team! We feel like we left Sao Jorge with new friends (Felipe!!) and we absolutely can't wait to return.
