Hotel Varanasi Heritage

I loved my stay with hotel Varanasi heritage. Staff was polite and helpful. Room services was really good and restaurant food was very amazing!! If you are looking for a place to stay near ghat and also accessible to main road, then this place is an amazing choice.

A bit delay in check-in time.

The room was ok, I asked for a window room and it was nice. Not at all what you pay for, but ok. ps: make sure your check is fine, cause mine wans't (more than once)

The stay was a disaster from get go, it wa supposed to be an anniversary gift for my parents but they completely ruined it even after taking so much money (₹5k) The room was very smelly, I had paid money for an extra mattress and they didn't give it even after asking 3 times, my parents had ordered tea but they sent completely cold tea. The breakfast buffet had stale cornflakes and rotten bananas, and the hospitality was also not good at all. Just a scheme to take money, literally nothing else.

The reception, waiting and maintenance staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in perfect location for Assi Ghat.

The hotel ordered a tuk tuk to take us to Sarnath sights for the whole day and we agreed a price for the day with a return back to the hotel. Unfortunately, when we asked the driver to take us to a temple back in Varanasi instead of the Muslim Saree shops he had been told to take us to by hotel guy, he abruptly stopped saying I cannot drive any further due to road having barrier across it ...’no tuk tuk allowed you walk to temple just up there only 5 minutes’. This was not true! We arrived at the temple after walking for 30 minutes with many cars and tuk tuks passing by. We also ended up paying for another tuk tuk back to our hotel as the driver had taken full payment but abandoned us! Be careful with trips and state carefully where you want to go... they will try their luck with the shops!

The location of the hotel is a plus point because of its proximity to Tulsi Ghat and Assi Ghat
