Hotel Varanasi Heritage

Everything was Upto my expectations. Very close to Assi Ghat. Close to everything still very quiet. Staffs are really good and helpful.

Restaurants is not fully functional, i think some renovations going on

The location is very close to Assi Ghat. It was a clean and comfortable stay. Hot water was good.

There is confusion amongst staff about whether things have been paid for already. Several times had to clarify this to avoid being charged twice.

A Nightmare Stay – Avoid at All Costs! I had the absolute worst experience at Hotel Varanasi Heritage. From start to finish, this hotel failed in every possible way. First, they completely ignored my prior communications and requests before my arrival, showing a complete lack of professionalism and care for guests. But the real nightmare began when I checked in—they failed to disclose that there was major construction happening for the ENTIRE duration of my stay. The hotel was filled with dust, debris, and non-stop noise from early morning to late evening, making it impossible to rest or even breathe properly. Due to the extreme dust and pollution caused by the construction, I developed severe health issues, including respiratory problems and sickness. When I requested the hotel to do something about the noise, they outright ignored my concerns. No compensation, no attempt to accommodate me, just sheer indifference. This was not just an unpleasant stay—it was a serious health hazard. If you value your health, peace, and basic customer service, DO NOT stay here. This hotel should not be operating under such conditions.

Good location.

The room was described as having street view. In fact, the windows could not be opened and had adhesive film (with photographs) glued onto them. Maybe one photo showed a street, but there was no outside view at all.

The property was ideally located at the Ghat of Assi , and from here everything is acceptable via foot or taxi. There are two parts to the hotel, and really what made it special were all the staff, who assisted and supported us during the stay, there is a little renovation , and winter months can be cold , but the amazing warm showers help… the rooms are just as the pictures show.. Thank you Hotel Varanasi Heritage , our family will definitely return

Nothing, the place was lovely

Only location-wise it was good as it is walkable distance to tulsi ghat and assi ghat.

Hospitality was very poor. Rooms were conjusted. The room shown on picture and mentioned on the booking details wasn’t same. First alotted room was pathetic with no ventilation, just like a store room then after so much of arguments, requests and long waiting hours they changed the room.
