Paradise Bungalow

Отличное местоположение. Не слышно дорогу, но за пару минут можно дойти до пляжа. Красивый и ухоженный внутренний двор. По просьбе всегда убирались, сдавали вещи в стирку. Можно пользоваться общей кухней. Бунгало было довольно просторным, кондиционер и вентилятор работали. Можно было работать на улице, наблюдая за бурундуками и павлинами. Я пятый раз на Шри-Ланке, в целом это жилье мне понравилось и я бы вернулась

Были в начале проблемы с водой и розетками, хост всегда старался помочь. Но в итоге нам было проще самим купить переходник (на Шри-Ланке другой формат розеток)

La ubicación en una zona tranquila aunque se escucha el tren en la madrugada

Al llegar te recibe una persona que no sabe ni 1 palabra de inglés lo cual dificulta la comunicación, no te dice ni cómo será el desayuno ni cuál es tu habitación. Los bungalows de madera son anticuados, no tienen iluminación interior prácticamente y el baño está sucio, tiene insectos aunque es una costumbre de alojamientos en Sri Lanka. El internet no funciona desde los bungalows de la entrada

The contact person via booking had no clue about my booking, told me to go to the place and check. when I went to the hotel it was closed and isolated with no one. A worker came about half an hour late while i was outside the hotel all that time, he too had no clue about the booking, he was not informed, he told he will arrange the room and give, which would have furthur wasted my time so I left. A bad experience, wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

great location, great breakfast, nice little house with a calm green garden - very practical with a kid :) be aware the windows only have wooden shutters, but no glass, so when you open them bugs get inside but we had decent nets for our beds so not such an issue for us

cold water for the entire stay, not so practical with a kid ;(( the manager said they'd fix it but never did, so just an advice - make sure to ask about the conditions before you come in

Fantastische ervaring waardoor we meerdere malen hebben bijgeboekt en zelfs zijn teruggekomen. Het uitzicht, de locatie en het personeel is fantastisch. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar en helpen je goed. Daarnaast mochten we het surfboard van de eigenaar altijd lenen (we mochten er zelfs mee naar herikitya) en hebben er een surfboard gekocht! We raden dit zeker aan!

Tijdens ons lange verblijf zou het tussentijds legen van prullenbakken wel fijn zijn

An amazing place to stay, just a short walk to the main surf point, Lazy Right. The cabanas make you feel like you’re in paradise—even though you’re already in paradise. Beautiful people, amazing energy, and great vibes all around. Hats off to this place.

The two guys who do the cooking and cleaning barely speak English, but they try to accommodate you and help you as best as they can. The place is actually in a nice piece of land.

Ok, I'm going to be extremely honest on this one (we stayed for 7 days): We rented a bungalow, but they gave us a triple room. Apparently, the bungalows were already taken. Our room was on a third floor, which can be a lot if you are carrying a lot of stuff. We got in our room and when we tried putting our water bottles inside the fridge, we found it was off, and full of mold and dirt. Staff came to check it next day and took care of this. The a/c would start making cracking noises after a while and it would start dripping. The kitchen sink was wobbly. The bathroom smelled like sewers, times 10. The faucet was rusty and would leak all day long with no master key to at least cut it out. It was also completely loose, so there was no way to use it because it would always go sideways and you ended up dripping water all over the place. The shower was completely rusty like it had never been cleaned/brushed. Since day 1, the manager said that a plumber would come and take care of everything. Well, after 7 days nothing was taken care of, except for the fridge. Breakfast was ok, but it's 3 slices of bread with a fried egg and a banana every single day.

Point positif : l’hôte a été compréhensif et ne nous a pas compté de frais de réservation

Quel dommage de ne pas avoir dormi dans cet endroit qui ressemble à un petit coin de paradis. Le seul petit point négatif est que le train passe à seulement quelques mètres du bungalow
