The White Lion by Innkeeper's Collection

The staff were very helpful and cheerful, the location was excellent, food was always hot ,the rooms were very clean ,downside was the room could maybe have a mini fridge ,the room was very noisy through the traffic because the the window had to be left open because of the heatwave and early morning traffic was very noisy, the fan had to be left on because of no air con ,but really enjoyed our stay,but thanks to all the staff especially Victoria the blond lady and bar staff

Good sized room and bed. Plenty of room for luggage, good sized ensuite.

Breakfast was excellent,lovedu the coffee and the selection of meals

Slept really well after a long motorbike ride . The bed was comfy and the room was cool and really quiet. Breakfast was good

Not having hot water for a shower we did mention this and it won't stop us returning as during our last stay it was hot but something that other guests may not be as sympathetic about. We would also have appreciated a fridge to keep our own drinks cool in the hot weather
