Heel erg vriendelijk personeel

Het hotel is heel erg verwaarloosd, we schrokken toen we aankwamen van de afgebladderde muren en verrotte kozijnen, kapotte banken buiten . Onze kamer was schoon maar erg armoeiig de gordijnen hingen los de badkamerdeur is aan de onderkant verrot.

I booked a last minute night for a hike with my daughter. Not many family rooms available so this was perfect. Room was clean and spacious. Sofa bed was made up and it wasn’t great tbh, very springy and it doesn’t lie completely flat. Still slept ok and the room was big, good shower, clean, and good facilities. It was easy to park, although we got the last spot so not sure if always available. Location is perfect in the town centre. All staff we met were lovely and super helpful. Breakfast on Sunday was really good with cooked options from the menu. Full English and great coffee, but many other options available. We ate there on Saturday night too. It’s an Ember Inn so food is consistent, plenty of choice and just what was needed. Overall the room wasn’t cheap but it’s the Lake District in May and there was plenty happening that weekend so we were lucky to find a room. Had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return thank you.

Food wernt brill

Perfectly located in the centre of town, (with FREE parking) really friendly/welcoming staff. Our large room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and, despite being above the bar/restaurant/beer garden, was surprisingly quiet.

Nowt - all was good.
