Balintore Inn

Loved the location. The owner , Mike, was very hospitable and was the chef too . First class food of an evening and nice breakfast. Jill the manager was really lovely.

From the moment we arrived we had fallen in love with the place and the people.

That we only booked one night not longer.

Team was superb and couldn't do enough for us. Cleaniness was brilliant and it felt a real home from home. The standard of cooking and variety of food offerred is absolutely superb and we'd definitely return

Quiet location overlooking the sea with ample parking and great food onsite.Nothing was too much trouble for the owner of the Balintore Inn.

The view is wonderful, lots of beautiful flowers and very friendly staff. I appreciated the cleanliness, and dimmable bedside lighting in the bedroom.

As a non meat eater, the breakfast was limited for the cooked option. A veggie sausage/haggis would have gone a long way, and a tattie scone. The mattress was v soft and not so comfortable and the fire safety light in the bedroom was very bright all night. Cotton bedding is so much more comfortable to sleep under, breathable.

Right by the water, quiet location, friendly staff, good food, large breakfast included, separate ground floor rooms out the back.

Water pressure on the property struggles when everyone is trying to shower in the morning.

Poor we were booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1 I would like to be compensated for the other 2 nights

Staff, very off hand. It was in a chalet type property the door would not shut properly there was a permanent draft my husband got a chill. Food was not good I had pork was cold and unappetising my husband had scampi and chips this was over cooked. We asked for a drink , no ice or lemon. Gin came with a can of lemonade were told could only have breakfast between 7 and 8 then came back later and said it would be between 8 and 9.

Food was really tasty
