Cosy with a lovely view out onto the patio. Very good value for money.

Nothing we didn't like.

Comfortable bed. Great customer service from all the staff. Lots of thoughts and extras ie. Insect repellent, toiletries etc. Biscuits and tea bags. Nice touch. Breakfast was a bonus. Good value for money. We loved out stay, Thank you so much ☺️

I liked the breakfast provided, tho it was provided in a very small area so there was a bit of congestion. Thoughtful to see emergency supplies eg toothbrushes provided free in the bathroom

An emergency fire door was used every minute or so for a couple of hours and it would noisily bang shut shaking my room's walls. Rooms further away were probably OK. I'd recommend they put in a soft close option. My room cost $140 so I think was pricey considering there was no private bathroom. Also the shared bathroom had only 1 little handtowel and then that disappeared , so I couldn't dry my hands. The lighting was very dim for reading. The next night I stayed in chch and for $115 got my own bathroom and a tiny kitchen

Nice spacious room, lovely gardens, friendly staff. Had a nice pub meal and the breakfast was very handy for making an early start on the Paparoa Track the next morning. Would stay again if tramping in the area

Loved staying here - the hosts are amazing and the property is full of character. Such a great spot, great access for Paparoa Track and also a fascinating history. Great place to take a bike - very accommodating and helpful.
